Meet Your Guitar Teacher

Hi, I'm Dave, a professional musician and experienced guitar teacher. I've spent many years helping people learn music, build confidence and enjoy playing.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Jazz Studies from Leeds College of Music, an HND in Performing Arts and a PGCert in Education. I've taught music at school, college and degree level.

Alongside teaching, I've enjoyed a varied career as a working musician, performing on cruise ships and at live events, as well as working as a songwriter and producer.

My Approach to Teaching

I believe the best way to learn guitar is by playing music you genuinely enjoy, especially those classic songs you've always wanted to play.

Whether you're a complete beginner or picking up the guitar again after years away, my approach is friendly, relaxed and supportive.

There's no pressure to be an expert. Just enjoyable lessons, encouragement and the opportunity to make real progress at your own pace.
